The NAMBA WALK, which extends 715 meters east-west from Namba Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, is a shopping street connecting Nihombashi Station on the east end of the Sakaisuji Line to Namba Station on the Yotsubashi Line to the west. The city, which consists of two passages on Kita-dori Minami-dori, is roughly divided into three zones. Five squares such as "Whale Park" and "FOREST PARK" are "Tamari Space" with symbol monuments, and seasonal events are held. The first street, ART PARK, is home to the Chicago Gallery, which is lined with reproductions of works from the Art Institute of Chicago.
"Namba" is written in Japanese traditional characters, "Walk" is written in English, and is expressed in a design suitable for the international city OSAKA.
The logotype is supervised by designer Hiroko Koshino.
